Is Today the Day You Change Your Life?

Around this time of year many of you will start to make a parade of promises on your fitness regime, your diet and your health. Some of you stick to your routine found new, but most break those promises as soon as you have made. This is because the beginning of a new year can lead to real change. I thrive on deadlines and structure, but at the beginning of new means very little for me. It only serves to remind me that I just described to make things so far and that the tax season has slipped a little closer. And for you in the new year will not magically make a new version of who you are.


I truly believe that change must come from within and not solely driven by external forces. turn the pages on a schedule that will not make you healthier, cleaner, lighter, smarter or better person. The change is much harder than that. If there was no effort required to change the way you look and feel, so what do you really achieved?

You will always be the same person as you and, finally, any gain disappears when you fall back into your old habits. It is not possible for a whim or a flip of the calendar to help you make the necessary adjustments, which are essential to your success. You should see the truth and discard reason. Let’s start by not making excuse after excuse about how you do not have time, money, energy to start exercising on a regular basis. Begin by taking all the excuses for your bad eating habits, and let us apologize for the lack of effort you put in when you are working on. Let's start making changes - real changes that will stick for the rest of your life, and not be a stop gap measure for what ails you.


If you want to lose weight then set up a plan with short term and long term goals. Get yourself to the gym or set up appts. with your trainer and stick to them. If you have a trainer he or she can help you with your eating plan, and if you don't find a trainer to motivate you and encourage you. If you want to finally take control of your life, JUST DO IT. Don't wait for some meaningless date on the calendar to improve your health. It doesn't matter. January 1 2011 could be any day of the year.
